Call for Registration: Climate Change and Cities: Advancing Science and Engaging with the IPCC

Background: The seventh assessment cycle of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC AR7) includes a Special Report on Climate Change and Cities. The outline of the Special Report agreed by the Panel at its Sixty-first Session in Sofia, Bulgaria and the call for Coordinating Lead Authors, Lead Authors, and Review Editors is available at https://www.ipcc.ch/2024/08/08/authorcallsrcities/. The Asian Network on Climate Science and Technology (ANCST) based in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia’s Southeast Asia Disaster Prevention Research Initiative (SEADPRI-UKM) and the Singapore Management University are organising an online session to discuss means of advancing science in the Asia Pacific and engaging with the IPCC. Convened by the IPCC Co-Chairs of WG III on Climate Change Mitigation and WG II on Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability, the tentative programme is as follows:
